Brown of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Scranton, PA, passed to eternal rest on July 6, 2026, at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Brown, sons Robert and Patrick, daughter Susan (Perry) Wagner, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, seven grandchildren, Kelly (Isaac Salazar), Christopher (Katelyn), and Catherine Brown; Charles, Sophia, Andrew (Sophie) and Grace Wagner, and great-grandchildren Ensley and Callen Brown. She was pre-deceased by her son Thomas (Elizabeth), her parents Roy P. and Mary A. Murphy Loftus, sisters Rita Hughes (Gerald), Mary Murtaugh (Jack), Teresa Evans (John) and brother, Jack.<\/p>\n<p>\nAnn was born and raised in Scranton. She graduated from Holy Rosary High School.
