{"id":262232,"date":"2026-08-09T18:44:28","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T18:44:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/262232\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T18:44:28","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T18:44:28","slug":"2-men-shot-outside-temple-hospital-in-north-philadelphia-nbc10-philadelphia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/262232\/","title":{"rendered":"2 men shot outside Temple Hospital in North Philadelphia \u2013 NBC10 Philadelphia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two men were shot Sunday morning right outside Temple University Hospital in North Philadelphia, police said. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Philadelphia Police Department, the shooting happened on the 3400 block of Germantown Ave. just before noon on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026. <\/p>\n<p>Police said one of the victims walked into Temple University Hospital, while the second victim was transported into the hospital by police.<\/p>\n<p>NBC10 was on scene as police taped off an area directly in front of the hospital&#8217;s emergency entrance and trauma center. Several bullets were visible, as well as at least eight evidence markers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/4da82d16-5217-44a7-8d9a-af3c5ce124b2_0fdbf6.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"   alt=\" \"\/><\/p>\n<p>A nearby resident told NBC10 that she heard two rounds of gunfire.
