(WTAJ) \u2014 It might still be summer, but Halloween is grabbing hold as Spirit Halloween stores are starting to pop up across the United States, and right here in central Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
The beloved seasonal shops pop up in vacant buildings every August through the Halloween season, offering costumes, decorations and much more.<\/p>\n
Spirit stores began their seasonal hiring process while people were still waiting to celebrate the 4th of July, showing their determination not to miss a beat when the stores open. This year, they aimed to fill more than 52,000 seasonal positions across more than 1,500 stores in the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n
Out of all the stores, four will be in WTAJ’s local region, with more throughout Central Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

Johnstown \u2013 Now open in the former JoAnn store \u2013 1425 Scalp Avenue<\/p>\n
DuBois \u2013 Opening in August in the DuBois Mall, next to JCPenney \u2013 5522 Shaffer Road<\/p>\n
State College \u2013 Opening in August in the former Rite Aid \u2013 1971 South Atherton Street<\/p>\n
Burnham \u2013 Now open in the former Big Lots \u2013 331 Freedom Avenue<\/p>\n
Camp Hill \u2013 Coming soon to the former Sears Appliance \u2013 3740 Capital City Mall Drive<\/p>\n
Chambersburg \u2013 Now open in the former JoAnn store \u2013 1678 Lincoln Way East<\/p>\n
Carlisle \u2013 Now open in the former Bon-Ton \u2013 750 East High Street<\/p>\n
Harrisburg \u2013 Now open in the former Bed, Bath & Beyond \u2013 5125 Jonestown Road<\/p>\n
