EXETER. LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) \u2014 Back-to-school season is just around the corner, and students in the Wyoming Area School District won’t be empty-handed when they return to the classroom this fall, thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Wyoming Area and their Stuff the Bus event.<\/p>\n
The Stuff-A-Bus event was held outside of the Wyoming Area Secondary Center in Exeter and saw several donations from local residents to stuff the bus for the second year in a row.<\/p>\n
Jess Yurek, President of the Kiwanis Club of Wyoming Area, says the annual Stuff a Bus drive helps relieve the burden on local families and ensures each student has the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom this fall.<\/p>\n
“This year we’ve gotten plenty of backpacks already, notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, crayons, markers and everything the kids are going to need for school,” Yurek said.<\/p>\n
