Joe Cicco had two hits, including a double, and Thomas Maier added a double for East Scranton. Janene Gale had a triple and James Dunning struck out 13 for West Scranton. \u2026 Winning pitcher John Rafferty and Connor Fultz combined on a one-hitter with 13 strikeouts, as Old Forge (Pagnotti Coal) beat Marvine Dutch Gap, 11-1. Fultz added three hits, including a home run, David Chromey had two hits, including a double, Ian Nemitz had two hits, Gary Puckett had a home run and Warren Welsh had a double for Old Forge. Kat Sharkey, a Wyoming Seminary graduate of Moosic, had two assists in the United States\u2019 6-1 win over Japan in a field hockey match in pool play at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Sharkey played alongside fellow Wyoming Seminary grad Kelsey Kolojejchick, of Larksville, as Team USA placed fifth. \u2026 Mike Sewack and Collin Domozych each had two singles and a double as North Scranton captured the District 17\/32 City Championship with an 8-7 victory over West Scranton. Anthony Gioia and Jacob Groncki each had a single and a double for North Scranton, and Brian Kellogg and winning pitcher Matt Saita each had two hits.
