Two rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms<\/a> are expected in the Susquehanna Valley on Monday, prompting the WGAL News 8 Storm Team to declare an Impact Day. <\/p>\n

The region is under a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather, with damaging wind gusts above 60 mph as the primary threat, along with heavy rain, isolated flash flooding, quarter-size hail and frequent lightning. <\/p>\n

The first round is possible from 7 to 11 a.m., bringing scattered storms, downpours and lightning. <\/p>\n

A second, potentially stronger round is expected from noon to 9 p.m., especially toward evening. <\/p>\n

Storms should fade after sunset, followed by partial clearing and areas of fog. <\/p>\n
