Per <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JamesLarsenPFN\/status\/2086647781234487791?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">James Larsen of PFN<\/a>, the Steelers are signing UFL standout receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WinsIs00.htm\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Isaiah Winstead<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The East Carolina product caught 36 passes and four touchdowns in 10 games with the Louisville Kings during the 2026 UFL season. He was last on an NFL roster in the preseason of 2024 with the New York Jets, where he was a teammate of Aaron Rodgers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Winstead had a tremendous final year at ECU, catching 88 passes for 1,085 yards and six touchdowns in 2022. He has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">The Steelers recently released wide receiver A.T. Perry to make room for Colton Dowell, whom they released almost immediately after signing.
