{"id":262695,"date":"2026-08-10T16:22:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T16:22:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/262695\/"},"modified":"2026-08-10T16:22:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T16:22:08","slug":"body-of-missing-chester-pennsylvania-woman-found-in-delaware-river-divers-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/262695\/","title":{"rendered":"Body of missing Chester, Pennsylvania, woman found in Delaware River, divers say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The body of Kortney Staples, a Chester, Pennsylvania, woman who was reported missing in July, was recovered from the Delaware River Sunday afternoon, divers said.<\/p>\n<p>Staples&#8217; body was recovered after crews pulled a car out of the Delaware River near Norris Street in Chester Sunday night, according to Chaos Divers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From the moment the vehicle was located, the mission became about one thing, bringing Kortney home with the dignity and respect she deserved,&#8221; Chaos Divers said in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Chaosdivers\/posts\/pfbid02Yb3vKTCTywg1qTjrdFFG3ufneZzJzxdKC9JXMn4kee41Acx6Jr7tQhELApR2u5h6l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Facebook post<\/a>. &#8220;We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism, cooperation, and care shown by everyone involved.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/crimewatch.net\/us\/pa\/delaware\/city-of-chester-pd\/303693\/cases\/missing-person\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">City of Chester Police Department<\/a>, Staples, 33, was reported missing on July 18.
