Public Works has announced the latest round of restrictions and closures as demolition of Jacks Run Bridge No. 3 continues. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Generally, the closures impact I-279 and the I-279\/579 HOV lanes in Pittsburgh, Ross and Ohio Township.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The closure schedule is weather dependent, since demolition work can\u2019t take place during heavy rain or when lightning is in the area. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Saturday night (August 8) to Sunday morning (August 9)<\/p>\n<p>I-279 northbound (outbound) will be fully closed between the McKnight Road\/Evergreen Road exit ramp (Exit 4) and the I-279 North on-ramp from Camp Horne Road from two hours after the 6:40 p.m. Pirates game concludes (or 9 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 9 a.m.The I-279\/I-579 HOV northbound (outbound) lanes will be closed from two hours after the Pirates game concludes (or 9 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Monday night (August 10) to Thursday morning (August 13)<\/p>\n<p>I-279 northbound (outbound) will be fully closed between the McKnight Road\/Evergreen Road exit ramp (Exit 4) and the I-279 North on-ramp from Camp Horne Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.The I-279\/I-579 HOV northbound (outbound) lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.A single lane of I-279 southbound (inbound) under Jacks Run Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Thursday night (August 13) to Friday morning (August 14)<\/p>\n<p>The right lane of I-279 northbound (outbound) under Jacks Run Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.A single lane of I-279 southbound (inbound) under Jacks Run Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.The I-279 northbound (outbound) on-ramp from Cemetery Lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Friday night (August 14) to Saturday morning (August 15)<\/p>\n<p>The right lane of I-279 northbound (outbound) under Jacks Run Road will be closed from two hours after the 6:40 p.m. Pirates game concludes (or 7 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 6 a.m.A single lane I-279 southbound (inbound) under Jacks Run Road will be closed from two hours after the Pirates game concludes (or 7 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 6 a.m.The I-279 northbound (outbound) on-ramp from Cemetery Lane closed from two hours after the Pirates game concludes (or 7 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 6 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Saturday night (August 15) to Sunday morning (August 16)<\/p>\n<p>I-279 northbound (outbound) will be fully closed between the McKnight Road\/Evergreen Road exit ramp (Exit 4) and the I-279 North on-ramp from Camp Horne Road from two hours after the 7:15 p.m. Pirates game concludes (or 9 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 9 a.m.The I-279\/I-579 HOV northbound (outbound) lanes will be closed from two hours after the Pirates game concludes (or 9 p.m. if the game is postponed) until 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">When I-279 northbound (outbound) is fully closed, drivers should take the following detours:<\/p>\n<p>I-279 northbound traffic will be\u00a0detoured\u00a0back to I-279 using McKnight Road, Babcock Boulevard, Rochester Road, Lowries Run Road, and Camp Horne Road.Union Avenue traffic to I-279 northbound will be\u00a0detoured\u00a0using Gass Road, Highland Avenue, Perry Highway, Rochester Road, Lowries Run Road, and Camp Horne Road.Cemetery Lane traffic to I-279 northbound will be\u00a0detoured\u00a0using Perry Highway, Rochester Road, Lowries Run Road, and Camp Horne Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">When the I-279 North on-ramp from Cemetery Lane is closed, traffic will be detoured using Perry Highway, Rochester Road, Lowries Run Road, and Camp Horne Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">These periodic closures are expected through August. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The reconstruction of Jacks Run Bridge No. 3, which sees nearly 5,000 vehicles daily, is
