DUNMORE, Pa. \u2014 A tasty event in Dunmore honors the memory of a teenager who passed away from brain cancer.<\/p>\n
The third annual “Bite Nite for Sonny” will take place Tuesday, August 11, at the Dunmore Little League fields from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The evening features wing bites, a lemonade stand, a book sale, a bake sale, and live music performed by several of Sonny\u2019s former classmates.<\/p>\n
Sonny Crotti lost his battle with brain cancer in 2024 at age 16, while a sophomore at Dunmore High School.<\/p>\n
The annual gathering raises money for a scholarship established in Sonny\u2019s name.
