PITTSBURGH \u2014 Get your running shoes ready; it\u2019s almost time to register for the 2027 Dick\u2019s Sporting Goods Marathon Weekend. <\/p>\n
Registration for the April 30 – May 3 marathon weekend events opens at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, and officials expect more than 55,000 participants from all U.S. states and dozens of countries. <\/p>\n
\u201cWhether you\u2019re running your first 5K, walking the half marathon, racing for a personal record or cheering on a loved one, Marathon Weekend is a celebration of movement that brings our community together,\u201d Interim CEO of P3R Bob Shooer said. \u201cWe can\u2019t wait to welcome participants from Pittsburgh and around the world back to our streets next spring.\u201d<\/p>\n
