{"id":264917,"date":"2026-08-13T23:40:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T23:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/264917\/"},"modified":"2026-08-13T23:40:07","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T23:40:07","slug":"ppa-says-its-expanding-smart-loading-zones-after-success-in-center-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/264917\/","title":{"rendered":"PPA says it\u2019s expanding \u2018smart loading zones\u2019 after success in Center City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 The Philadelphia Parking Authority is expanding its number of \u201csmart loading zones\u201d in the city more than a year after launching the program in Center City and seeing some success.<\/p>\n<p>On 22 designated blocks in Center City, \u201csmart loading zones\u201d use license plate reading cameras to enforce a 10 cent-per minute fee for vehicles preregistered for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.curbpass.io\/philly?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Curbpass program<\/a>.
