BERKS COUNTY, Pa. \u2014 Bridgework will be conducted on the Pennsylvania Turnpike from Berks to Chester County on Sunday from midnight to 5 a.m.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission says Interstate 76 will be closed between the Downingtown (Exit 312) and Morgantown (Exit 298) interchanges on Sunday.<\/p>\n
This will affect all travelers going westbound. Eastbound traffic will be able to proceed normally through the corridor, the commission says.<\/p>\n
The following detour will be in place for westbound traffic at Downingtown:<\/p>\n
PA 100 North, 9 miles<\/p>\n
PA 23 West, 12.4 miles<\/p>\n
PA 10 North, 1 mile<\/p>\n
Vehicles can re-enter PA Turnpike at Morgantown Interchange (Exit 298), the commission says.<\/p>\n
Pennsylvania State Police and PA Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers.<\/p>\n
Pa. Turnpike officials encourage drivers to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions, they say.<\/p>\n
