PITTSBURGH \u2014 A man is in critical condition following an officer-involved shooting in Pittsburgh\u2019s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood on Thursday night. <\/p>\n
CLICK HERE TO SEE PHOTOS FROM THE SCENE<\/a><\/p>\n At around 8:40 p.m., 911 dispatchers were called about three men arguing in the 6600 block of Lyric Street, threatening to pull out guns. <\/p>\n When officers arrived on scene, they encountered a man holding a gun. According to the Allegheny County Police Department, officers ordered the man to drop the gun, but the man turned abruptly toward the officers, and the officer then fired his weapon.<\/p>\n The man whom the officer shot was taken to a hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n No officers were injured.<\/p>\n Friday afternoon, Allegheny County police said they\u2019d obtained an arrest warrant for 50-year-old Maurice Manson of Pittsburgh in connection with the incident. <\/p>\n Manson is charged with aggravated assault of a police officer.
