{"id":266496,"date":"2026-08-16T18:04:24","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T18:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/266496\/"},"modified":"2026-08-16T18:04:24","modified_gmt":"2026-08-16T18:04:24","slug":"kittens-thrown-from-vehicle-in-bethel-park-lead-to-police-investigation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/266496\/","title":{"rendered":"Kittens thrown from vehicle in Bethel Park lead to police investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">BETHEL PARK, Pa. \u2014 A disturbing discovery on an Allegheny County roadway is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">In a social media post, the Bethel Park Police Department said it received calls between 3:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Saturday about someone throwing things from a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">It reportedly happened near Connor Road and Old Connor Road, as well as Library Road near the Dairy Queen plaza and Horning Road. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Police say the things being thrown were \u201cunfortunately determined to be deceased kittens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Todd Cenci, Bethel Park councilmember and public safety chair, tells us two kittens were thrown out of the vehicle.
