Man accused of stabbing individual in parking lot of South Side Giant Eagle<\/p>\n

One person was taken to the hospital, and another was taken into custody after an altercation led to a stabbing outside a Giant Eagle store in Pittsburgh on Saturday, officials said. <\/p>\n

Pittsburgh Public Safety said police were called to the 2000 block of Wharton Street following reports of a stabbing. <\/p>\n

Arriving officers found an adult man in the Giant Eagle parking lot with a puncture wound above his knee. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Police were told that an altercation took place before the stabbing. <\/p>\n

Officials took another man into custody in connection with the incident. Charges are expected to be filed. <\/p>\n
