An unknown man drove a stolen car into the back yard of an Exeter Twp. property on Sunday morning and threatened to kill the homeowner before crashing the vehicle and running from the scene, according to Wyoming Area Regional Police.<\/p>\n
The incident took place at a home along state Route 92 shortly before 5 a.m. Sunday, after the suspicious driver initially knocked on the front door of the home.<\/p>\n
The man proceeded to drive the vehicle into the back yard, at which point the homeowner confronted him. The intruder then threatened to kill the homeowner, police said.<\/p>\n
The man attempted to flee the scene in the stolen vehicle but crashed into some trees, according to police. The intruder then jumped out of the vehicle and ran from the property.<\/p>\n
No charges had been filed in connection with the incident, which police said remained under investigation. Investigators were asking neighbors to review their cameras for surveillance footage that may have recorded the intruder.<\/p>\n
