{"id":266873,"date":"2026-08-17T14:06:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T14:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/266873\/"},"modified":"2026-08-17T14:06:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T14:06:08","slug":"traffic-advisory-issued-for-wyoming-avenue-in-exeter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/266873\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic advisory issued for Wyoming Avenue in Exeter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Traffic on state route 11 (Wyoming Avenue) in Exeter is limited to one lane effective Aug. 17 and wide loads larger than 9 feet are prohobited, borough officials said.<\/p>\n<p>New traffic patterns and parking restrictions are located on Wyoming Avenue, Schooley Avenue, Grant Street and Lincoln Street.<\/p>\n<p>The lane restrictions are necessary due to the Exeter Borough Wyoming Avenue-Schooley Avenue Sewer Improvement Project, which is an 18-month, $9 million project, funded by Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority revenues, several LSA State Grants, Peoples Security Bank &amp; Trust, and a low-interest USDA Rural Development Loan.<\/p>\n<p>Following the completion of sewer installlation, planned improvements include a new Exeter Borough Community Pavilion, repaving, new sidewalks and new street lighting.<\/p>\n<p>Project updates are provided at Exeter Borough Council meetings.
