{"id":266930,"date":"2026-08-17T16:06:10","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T16:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/266930\/"},"modified":"2026-08-17T16:06:10","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T16:06:10","slug":"traffic-limited-to-one-lane-on-wyoming-ave-for-road-construction-project-in-exeter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/266930\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic limited to one lane on Wyoming Ave. for road construction project in Exeter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>EXETER \u2014 Traffic will be limited to one lane on Wyoming Avenue in Exeter beginning Monday, Aug. 17, for a construction project.<\/p>\n<p>According to a news release from the borough, wide loads measuring more than 9 feet are prohibited.<\/p>\n<p>The borough asks motorists to use caution and to show patience to all workers, other drivers, and pedestrians while traveling through the construction zones.<\/p>\n<p>The Exeter Borough Wyoming Avenue-Schooley Avenue Sewer Improvement Project is an 18-month, $9 million project funded by WVSA sewer revenues, several LSA state grants, Peoples Security Bank &amp; Trust, and a low-interest USDA Rural Development Loan.<\/p>\n<p>The news release stated, \u201cThe project is the foundation for future growth and beautification in Exeter Borough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the completion of sewer installation, planned improvements include a new Exeter Borough community pavilion, a full PennDOT Wyoming Avenue\/Route 11 street paving, and new Wyoming Avenue sidewalks and street lighting.<\/p>\n<p>Residents are reminded that, like with all other utility work, they should not interrupt workers with questions. Contact the borough manager at manager@exeterborough.com with questions or concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Project updates are provided at Exeter Borough Council meetings on the first Tuesday of the month.
