A man wearing a Chucky doll mask allegedly targeted six people at random in Philadelphia \u2014 and chillingly asked a female jogger if she was ready to die, police have revealed.<\/p>\n

The masked suspect \u2013 thought to be a black man between 16 and 20 \u2013 terrorized people going about their business within a crazed 15 minute window early Wednesday morning and remains at large.<\/p>\n

The young man went into a Dunkin Donuts store wearing the \u201cdistinctive, Chucky doll Halloween-style face mask\u201d just after 5:20 a.m. but was refused service because he was being erratic, Jason Smith, the Philadelphia Police Captain, told reporters at a presser Monday.<\/p>\n

He then allegedly then started running up to people at nearby locations \u2014 all while filming, seemingly for his sick pleasure.<\/p>\n

The masked individual allegedly uttered something to a man wearing a reflective vest before chasing him.<\/p>\n

He then allegedly harassed a female jogger, who later reported him to cops.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s holding his cell phone up in front of her, at which time he asks her \u2018Are you ready to die?\u2019\u201d Smith said, describing the woman\u2019s encounter.<\/p>\n

\u201c[She] appears startled, at which time the male asks her again, \u2018Are you ready to die?\u2019 Clearly she\u2019s not ready to die, so she takes off,\u201d the cop added, revealing she injured her leg trying to flee and was \u201cscreaming for help.\u201d<\/p>\n

The masked man is facing charges of terroristic threats, harassment, assault, reckless endangerment and intimidation, Smith said.<\/p>\n

The cop revealed the fiend will also face a weapons charge as his right arm was behind his back when he issued the threat to the jogger. This was despite the fact there was no weapon in surveillance video from the scene.<\/p>\n

Jameka, a witness, said she tried to warn the jogger who was being bugged.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started to wave at her from across the intersection and say, \u2018Hey there\u2019s someone behind you, look behind you,\u2019\u201d she told WPVI<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jameka said she fronted the masked man and kicked him in the chest.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe just seemed so disoriented about what his goals actually were. I had bags; he wasn\u2019t reaching for those,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt didn\u2019t seem like he had a clear goal to like actually get in La Colombe [a coffee shop] to do anything, so I was like OK, well, let\u2019s see if you can fight, and he couldn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n

A manhunt is underway, with Smith saying, \u201cTrust me when I tell you this\u2026 we\u2019re not going to do our darnedest to try and locate this individual? You bet we are.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really unsettling just trying to get to work and have a kid like this actively terrorizing women,\u201d coffee shop worker Kate Egan said.<\/p>\n
