Police have recovered a stolen truck that, officials claim, was used in an attempt to steal an ATM from a 7-11 in Northeast Philly early Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
According to police, officers recovered a truck at about 6:22 a.m. along the 3300 block of Disston Street after it was abandoned by individuals who attempted to steal an ATM.<\/p>\n
As could be seen at the scene, broken chains hung from the truck as officers investigated the vehicle. <\/p>\n
Officials said investigators believe thieves attempted to use the truck to steam an ATM at a 7-11 store located at the intersection of Roland and Tyson avenues but, they were unsuccessful. <\/p>\n
No one was injured in this incident and officials did not immediately detail damages that this attempted theft may have caused at the 7-11 store. <\/p>\n
Police also did not immediately provide any further details about the attempted theft or the suspects sought in this case.<\/p>\n
But, investigators are reviewing surveillance video from the store, officials said. <\/p>\n
