ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has identified the 18-year-old man who died in a collision with a moped on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The victim was Jose E. De Aza, of Allentown, according to a news release from the coroner\u2019s office. He was pronounced dead at 2:11 p.m. Monday in the Emergency Department at Lehigh Valley Hospital\u2013Cedar Crest.<\/p>\n

De Aza was operating a motorcycle that collided with a moped<\/a> around 1:34 p.m. at the intersection of South 25th Street and Hamilton Street in Allentown.<\/p>\n

The coroner says an autopsy completed Tuesday determined the cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death was ruled an accident.<\/p>\n

The Allentown Police Department Traffic Unit and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are assisting the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensic Center in the ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n
