A news release about the ceremony highlights various accomplishments and milestones, including the introduction of several \u201cleading-edge procedures,\u201d the reopening of Moses Taylor\u2019s hospital pharmacy, the launch of a convenient \u201cMeds-to-Beds\u201d program allowing eligible patients to have their prescriptions filled before leaving the hospital and the relocation of \u201cSame Day Surgery services to strengthen the campus as an outpatient hub.\u201d Regional Hospital also recently earned the American College of Cardiology\u2019s HeartCARE Center designation, its highest recognition for hospitals and health systems providing cardiovascular care, it notes. \u201cOur mission is simple: provide exceptional care close to home while investing in the future of healthcare in our community,\u201d Regional Hospital CEO Patrick Conaboy, M.D., said in the release. The return to nonprofit ownership has provided an unique opportunity to reinvest directly back into our patients, our employees, and our facilities.
