DEKALB, Ill. (Rockford News First) – The DeKalb County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested a man Tuesday afternoon, whom they say had several thousand doses of LSD, or acid, in his vehicle. <\/p>\n
James Duane Hall, 50, of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, is charged with controlled substance trafficking, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. <\/p>\n
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff\u2019s Office, a narcotics detective conducted the traffic stop on Hall\u2019s vehicle for multiple traffic violations near mile marker 106 of Interstate 88 in Maple Park. <\/p>\n
During the traffic stop, a detective searched the vehicle and claims to have found 14,478 individual doses of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD). <\/p>\n
DeKalb deputies believe the amount the be the largest amount of LSD seized in the area. <\/p>\n
Hall was arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail. <\/p>\n
