Rainfall rates of 2-3 inches per hour are possible, forecasters said. Timing is uncertain, but forecasters said rain could fall between noon and 9 p.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe main timing window is for Thursday afternoon and evening, though some showers may develop in the morning ahead of the main window,\u201d meteorologists wrote <a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/product.php?site=PHI&amp;issuedby=PHI&amp;product=AFD&amp;format=CI&amp;version=1&amp;glossary=1&amp;highlight=off\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wednesday in their daily forecast discussion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Flooding is possible in urban areas, or near creeks and streams.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today will be quiet, but showers and thunderstorms will move in on Thursday. Storms will be capable of producing heavy downpours and flash flooding with rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.<\/p>\n<p>Friday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 82.
