Wawa and Electrify America will roll out eight Wawa-branded chargers in Pennsylvania in 2026. | Electrify America<\/p>\n
Wawa<\/a>, which has more than 280 locations in its electric vehicle network, is adding eight branded chargers in a partnership with Electrify America, the two companies announced Wednesday.<\/p>\n The chargers are coming to the following Pennsylvania locations this year:<\/p>\n Store 268 \u2013 5900 Bristol Pike, BristolStore 266 \u2013 7572 Schantz Road, Allentown\u00a0Store 8021 \u2013 1960 John Fries Highway, Quakertown\u00a0Store 8062 \u2013 1600 Egypt Road, Phoenixville\u00a0Store 8070 \u2013 8240 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby\u00a0Store 8083 \u2013 1242 W. Baltimore Pike, Media\u00a0Store 8109 \u2013 413 Lancaster Avenue, ReadingStore 8220 \u2013 164 Maynard St., Williamsport\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cSince 2017, Wawa<\/a> has been a leader in providing EV charging solutions, with over 280 locations now offering this service,\u201d said Rich Makin, senior vice president and chief fuel and development officer at Wawa, Pennsylvania-based, Wawa. \u201cThis move to testing Wawa-branded chargers demonstrates our ongoing commitment to meeting our customers\u2019 fueling needs\u2014whether they require electric charging or traditional liquid fuels. By owning Wawa-branded chargers, we are always striving to deliver a more seamless, reliable and consistent experience and this allows us to provide more options throughout 14 states for our customers.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Rachel Moses, senior director of sales and marketing for Reston, Virginia-based Electrify America, said, \u201cThe Electrify America white label offering helps retailers establish and operate a charging network that reflects their brand, customer experience and business goals.\u201d<\/p>\n The chargers at the stores in Upper Darby, Phoenixville, Media, Williamsport and Reading are capable of speeds up to 400 kilowatts (kW) and will offer Combined Charging System and North American Charging Standard connectors. The chargers at the stores in Bristol, Allentown and Quakertown are capable of speeds up to 350 kW and will offer CCS connectors.\u00a0<\/p>\n Wawa has about 1,100 locations open in eight states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia,\u00a0Florida<\/a>, North Carolina and Alabama, as well as in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n
