SWAT team executes search warrant after man shot dead in Pittsburgh neighborhood<\/p>\n
Shots were fired just after 5 a.m. Wednesday <\/p>\n
PITTSBURGH \u2014<\/p>\n
A SWAT team was called to a home in Pittsburgh\u2019s Homewood neighborhood in connection to a deadly shooting earlier in the day.<\/p>\n
Officials tell Pittsburgh\u2019s Action News 4 a SWAT team was called to the 7000 block of Idlewild Avenue to execute a search warrant after a man was shot and killed Wednesday morning. <\/p>\n
The situation began around 5:05 a.m. when officers were called to the street for a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. <\/p>\n
That person died at the scene and has not been identified. <\/p>\n
Hours after that deadly shooting, SWAT and medics were back in the same area as authorities executed a search warrant. <\/p>\n
Both the SWAT team and medical responders have since left the scene. Pittsburgh\u2019s Action News 4 has reached out to officials to learn if anyone has been taken into custody. <\/p>\n
