WHITEHALL TWP., Pa- An insurance agency that’s been a presence in the Lehigh Valley for decades is making moves in Lehigh County.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This week, Peters Insurance held an open house at its new office at\u00a0235 Pershing Blvd. in Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n
It joins the company’s flagship office outside Northampton, at 559 Nor-Bath Blvd. in Allen Township.<\/p>\n
A previous location at 1501 S. 4th St. in Allentown is now closed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Peters Insurance is licensed to sell many types of business and personal insurance in Pennsylvania and Maryland. It’s been operating for nearly 50 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The agency was founded by David Peters in 1978, and, according to company lore, he did it the old-fashioned way, “with hard work and shoe leather,” going door-to-door to meet prospective clients.<\/p>\n
“David took his clients\u2019 needs to heart and did his best to simplify the complexities of insurance.
