{"id":268417,"date":"2026-08-19T21:50:07","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T21:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/268417\/"},"modified":"2026-08-19T21:50:07","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T21:50:07","slug":"broad-street-in-bethlehem-to-close-for-one-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/268417\/","title":{"rendered":"Broad Street in Bethlehem to close for one morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Broad Street in Bethlehem will go car-free, allowing for biking and walking along the major city thoroughfare, during an event set for next month.<\/p>\n<p>The event, \u201cBike Broad,\u201d will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 12, according to a news release from Lehigh Valley Coalition for Appropriate Transportation, which is partnering with the city to hold the inaugural event.<\/p>\n<p>Broad Street will be closed down from Eighth Avenue, near the Bethlehem Rose Garden, to downtown Bethlehem.
