As students prepare to return to classrooms for the new school year, Erie Insurance is investing more than $2 million in educational opportunities for young people across the region.<\/p>\n
The company announced the funding during a press conference Thursday, revealing that grants will be distributed to 30 nonprofit organizations that serve students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.<\/p>\n
The funding is designed to expand learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom, supporting programs that focus on financial literacy, career readiness, arts and culture, and other educational enrichment initiatives.<\/p>\n
Officials said the grants will help local organizations provide resources and experiences that prepare students for future success, whether through workforce development programs, hands-on learning opportunities, creative arts instruction, or life-skills education.<\/p>\n
The investment spans a wide range of age groups, with grant recipients offering programs for children in early childhood education through high school students preparing for college and careers.<\/p>\n
Community leaders noted that the funding comes at a critical time, just days before the start of the school year, and will help strengthen educational support systems throughout the region.<\/p>\n
