Police identify man in Halloween mask accused of terrorizing people in Philadelphia<\/p>\n

Police have identified a man accused of wearing a Halloween-style mask and terrorizing women in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n

An arrest warrant has been issued for Zymire Hughes, 22, Philadelphia police announced Thursday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Police also said Hughes may have fled Pennsylvania and has connections to California and Nevada.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re working with the U.S. Marshals to bring him back to face justice,” police said. <\/p>\n

Investigators say the suspect was wearing a Chucky-style mask as he ran up to people and made threats during a 15-minute span on Aug. 12. <\/p>\n

Police said the masked man first entered a Dunkin’ at 5:20 a.m. and was refused service for wearing the mask. After exiting, he was seen on camera running toward people near City Hall at 5:25 a.m. <\/p>\n

Police said the suspect chased a man on the west side of 15th Street and then approached a woman who was jogging.<\/p>\n

The suspect allegedly stopped in front of the woman and asked her, “Are you ready to die?” The woman took off running and injured her leg, according to police.<\/p>\n

Hughes is facing charges that include terroristic threats, simple assault and other offenses.<\/p>\n
