Religious Liberty Weekend at Berean Seventh-day Adventist<\/p>\n
Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5100 Osborne Ave., Baton Rouge, will host its seventh annual Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) Weekend Friday-Saturday, Aug. 28-29, in the Berean School complex.<\/p>\n
The theme is \u201cThe Seal of the Living God: Signs of Jesus\u2019 Soon Return.\u201d<\/p>\n
The weekend begins at 6 p.m.\u00a0Friday with praise and worship, followed by a presentation on \u201cSigns of Jesus\u2019 Soon Return.\u201d A light meal will be served. Activities resume at 11 a.m.\u00a0Saturday with \u201cThe Seal of the Living God \u2014 Revelation 7,\u201d followed by a full-course meal and an afternoon session from 2 to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
The guest speaker will be the Rev. Stephen Brooks, executive secretary of the Southwestern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and director of evangelism and personal ministries.<\/p>\n
