BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Put your boots on and get ready for a fun weekend in Bethlehem!<\/p>\n
ArtsQuest has launched CountryFest at SteelStacks, featuring live music, line dancing and great food.<\/p>\n
ArtsQuest’s first ever CountryFest is officially underway, bringing national acts and local eats right to Bethlehem.<\/p>\n
The two-day festival is transforming the ‘Stacks into a country music haven. Festivalgoers bringing high energy and high spirits to kick off night one.<\/p>\n
“I haven’t been out all summer because I’m older and I can’t do it. And so, I’m here now and I’m just having a ball,” Barbara Tocci says. “I’ve been dancing and moving around and just very excited and so happy to be here.”<\/p>\n
Whether they’re coming out for the music or just soaking in the late summer weather, locals say having a dedicated country event right here in the Lehigh Valley is a welcome addition.<\/p>\n
“Gotta love country music, and it’s really great for the community. And down here, SteelStacks,” Dave Nicholasen says. “It’s a great crowd here and good food and good drinks and great people.”<\/p>\n
And you can’t have CountryFest without the proper gear.<\/p>\n
“We have a lot of cowboy hats. So, when we saw that there was a country music festival, had to be here,” Sunflower Trading Company co-owner Daniel Durantaye says.<\/p>\n
Vendors like the Sunflower Trading Company are keeping the crowd styled.<\/p>\n
“Come on down. We got all the stuff you need. Plus, you don’t need too much,” Durantaye says. “There’s drinks here, there’s music. What else do you really need? It’s beautiful.”<\/p>\n
