A historic Easton-area bar and restaurant has its reopening in sight, months after a fire forced it to temporarily close.<\/p>\n
The Iron Mule restaurant and bar plans to reopen in November at 831 S. Delaware Drive in Williams Township, owner Kate Hug announced online<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cOur doors may be closed for now, but please know that The Iron Mule family misses every single one of you,\u201d Hug said. \u201cWe miss the laughter, the conversations, the familiar faces, the friendships, and all of the memories we\u2019ve made together.\u201d<\/p>\n Hug thanked firefighters from Williams Township and the surrounding departments for responding to the fire that occurred in May<\/a>. There were no injuries.<\/p>\n \u201cBecause of their incredible efforts, the damage to our building was limited, and we have a building to come back to,\u201d she said. \u201cWe will be forever grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n In the time since the fire, the restaurant remained active on social media, engaging the community in debates such as \u201ckaraoke vs. live music\u201d.<\/a> It moved previously scheduled events to other locations<\/a>.<\/p>\n
