George Scott\u2019s New Bay colt has not been seen since early June when he bolted up to win the Coronation Cup by 10 lengths, with the fast summer ground scuppering intended outings since then.<\/p>\n
Now he could be heading to the French capital on Arc Trials day (September 6) with the main event in October his primary target.<\/p>\n
Billy Jackson-Stops, racing manager for owners Victorious Racing, said: \u201cGeorge says a couple of bits of work lately have been as good as ever.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re really happy with him. The plan is the Foy, it\u2019ll be ground dependent. We\u2019ll see how they\u2019re looking in France.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe could go to the Irish Champion Stakes, but he will go to France if the ground is ideal for him and obviously the end goal for him this year is the Arc.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, expensive breeze-up buy Mrair missed the chance to enhance his profile in the Gimcrack Stakes at York\u2019s Ebor Festival after a late issue saw him taken out of the race.<\/p>\n
Jackson-Stops added: \u201cMrair had a small setback.
