A Pennsylvania couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at the exact time they were married seven decades ago.<\/p>\n
Homer Kreider, 92, and Faye Kreider, 88, had their vow renewal ceremony performed by a friend of their daughter at 1 p.m., the same time they tied the knot 70 years ago.<\/p>\n
They live in their home, where Homer takes care of and pampers Faye, who has dementia and Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n
\u201cCongratulations. You may now kiss the bride,\u201d the officiant said during the ceremony.<\/p>\n
The couple first met on a blind date at the Dixie Drive-In. Homer fell asleep during the date, but his daughter explained, \u201cHe was a hard-working farmer.\u201d<\/p>\n
It took him six months to get another date with Faye.<\/p>\n
After six months of marriage, Homer was drafted, and the couple spent some time apart early in their relationship.<\/p>\n
Their enduring love was celebrated with family and friends, marking a lifetime of commitment and care. <\/p>\n
