“Tough town, tough character.” That’s part of the description Disney has used for its Pittsburgh Steelers Disney x Champion Collab. <\/p>\n

“Disney’s original heavy is big, gruff and impossible to push around, the kind of grit Steel City respects,” the description continues. <\/p>\n

After weeks of waiting for a reveal, we now know that Pete has been selected to represent the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL Disney and Champion collaboration. <\/p>\n

“Blue-collar, tough, and unapologetically physical. Pete embodies the smash-mouth mentality Steelers fans embrace,” DisneyParks Blog wrote on their website.<\/p>\n

Pete may not have been your first choice for the Steelers, but according to Bret Healey, Director, Graphic Design at Disney Consumer Products, the choices are meant to be debated. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf nobody argues about the picks, is it even a legitimate draft?\u201d Bret says. \u201cSports fans debate everything rigorously. That\u2019s part of the fun. It keeps us all connected with each other when the games aren\u2019t on.\u201d<\/p>\n
