\u201cThe past week was a bit of an anomaly,\u201d Pittsburgh Police Chief Jason Lando told Channel 11. <\/p>\n
Pittsburgh Police Chief Jason Lando reflected on last week\u2019s violence as he spoke with reporters on Monday.<\/p>\n
Despite the three deadly shootings in 24 hours last week,<\/a> Chief Lando told Channel 11 \u2014 crime stats are actually going down in the city. <\/p>\n \u201cWe did see three very unfortunate incidents that did result in someone\u2019s death, but we continue to see, looking back from 2020 to now, a very drastic reduction in homicides,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n Channel 11 was at each of those deadly scenes, where two men were murdered in separate shootings in Homewood. <\/p>\n And on that same day, a woman was shot and killed in Bedford Dwellings. <\/p>\n \u201cNo homicide is ok.
