{"id":271956,"date":"2026-08-25T14:20:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T14:20:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/271956\/"},"modified":"2026-08-25T14:20:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-25T14:20:11","slug":"asd-middle-school-principal-resigns-at-beginning-of-school-year-allentown-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/271956\/","title":{"rendered":"ASD middle school principal resigns at beginning of school year | Allentown Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ALLENTOWN, Pa. &#8211; The principal of a middle school in the Allentown School District has resigned, as a new school year kicks off.<\/p>\n<p>Harrison-Morton Middle School Principal Spencer Cameron submitted his resignation to pursue an opportunity that will allow him to return to his home community, the district said in a letter to middle school families and the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe thank Mr. Cameron for his service to Harrison-Morton and wish him well in his next chapter,\u201d the district said.<\/p>\n<p>The district said Mr. Frank Derrick will serve as Acting Principal.
