Health Dept."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A food truck in the Pittsburgh area has been ordered closed by the Allegheny County Health Department.<\/p>\n<p>Inspectors says Steve &amp; Benny\u2019s Chicken Shack based on Hastings Crescent in South Fayette and operating on Perry Highway in Perry Highway in McCandless had several violations.<\/p>\n<p>The Health Department\u2019s website stats that the location had cold-holding food at unsafe temperatures and \u201cinadequate facilities\u201d to maintain temperatures of food.<\/p>\n<p>The truck also has a lack of water and food probe thermometer.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the truck was operating without a valid food permit and did not have a Certified Food Protection Manager.<\/p>\n<p>The closure was issued on Monday, August 24.<\/p>\n<p>Any updates to the status of the food truck can be found on the Health Department\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alleghenycounty.us\/Services\/Health-Department\/Food-Safety\/Alerts-Closures-and-Enforcements\/Consumer-Alerts-and-Closures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A food truck in the Pittsburgh area has been ordered closed by the Allegheny County Health Department.
