The Fire Chief will play a key role in shaping the future of emergency services in Fairview Township. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership, guiding department operations, advancing long-term planning initiatives, and ensuring the continued development of the department’s standard of cover.<\/p>\n
The position reports directly to the Fairview Township Board of Supervisors while working closely with the Fairview Lake Shore Fire Department Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

Degree in Fire Science or Public Administration<\/p>\n
Firefighter II Certification<\/p>\n
Fire Service Officer I<\/p>\n
Fire Service Instructor I<\/p>\n
Fire Inspector I<\/p>\n
Paramedic Certification<\/p>\n
Applicants must establish a primary residence within a 20-mile straight-line distance of Station 52 within 12 months of hire. The selected candidate must also demonstrate the ability to lead career personnel while fostering a collaborative environment that supports volunteer firefighters and emergency responders.<\/p>\n
