Capo’s in Pittsburgh’s South Side given deadline by DA to improve, protect safety of patrons<\/p>\n
PITTSBURGH \u2014<\/p>\n
The owners of Capo’s on the South Side have two days to agree to new demands from the Allegheny County District Attorney to improve their safety standards. <\/p>\n
This comes following a meeting with the DA’s Nuisance Bar Task Force on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
District Attorney Stephen Zappala said if the demands are not agreed upon within 48 hours, officials are prepared to file a petition to close the bar. <\/p>\n
If the owners agree, Zappala will ask the mayor’s office for approval. <\/p>\n
Capo’s went under fire following a string of incidents at the popular bar.<\/p>\n
