EASTON, Pa. \u2014 There is less than a week until 3rd & Ferry\u2019s 12th annual Clam Jam Seafood Street Festival in downtown Easton.<\/p>\n
According to a news release from the 3rd & Ferry Fish Market, admission to Clam Jam is free for the entire community to enjoy great live music, taste delicious food, and explore the talents of local craft vendors.<\/p>\n
Officials say free live entertainment starts at 12 p.m. and is provided by Harmony Garage Band, Avenue 16 and GruviTune. Numerous local restaurants compete in the covenant \u201cChowdah Competition\u201d & \u201cJack Daniel\u2019s Sauce Competition\u201d which is decided by the thousands of people who attend Clam Jam. The release says both Competitions raise money for Easton Local Non-Profits the state theatre and Nurture Nature Center. You can check out the local Mixologist going head-to-head at the Jack Daniel\u2019s Cocktail Competition at 2 p.m., Grille 3501, Notch, Surv, and Sette Luna.<\/p>\n
The release says families can head to the Mr. Twister kids area where there is a petting zoo, oyster painting, Hawaiian Santa, and more. Tito\u2019s Vodka for Dog People has paired with the Humane Society of the Lehigh Valley, and they will have a dog area for our four-legged festival goers. Officials say you can bring you pup for a chance to win the \u201cBest in Show\u201d at 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
For the \u201cChowdah Competition\u201d, Oyster & Beer Tasting\u201d, and \u201cCigar, Cocktail, & Beer\u201d experiences, the fish market highly recommends purchasing tickets in advance. Parking is available on public streets, the South 3rd St. parking garage (123 S 3rd St, 18042), or the Fourth St. parking garage (N 4th St, 18042), Social Security building parking lot located South Fourth Street, according to the release.<\/p>\n
