\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Cheryl Ann Schroeder, 67, passed away peacefully, with her husband and daughter by her side, on August 21, 2026 in her Muhlenberg Township residence. <\/p>\n
She was the loving wife of Allen Scott Schroeder, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. <\/p>\n
Born September 14, 1958, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Albert P. and Georgine (Moore) Kruszewski. <\/p>\n
Cheryl was a 1976 graduate of Central Catholic High School. <\/p>\n
She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Muhlenberg Township. <\/p>\n
Cheryl was employed with FirstEnergy Corp. for 24 years, retiring in 2021. <\/p>\n
She enjoyed glassblowing demonstrations, wine tasting, going to concerts, attending Reading Jazz Fest, and trips to Atlantic City and various casinos. <\/p>\n
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is her daughter, Alison M. (Schroeder), wife of Aaron Fabian of Temple; her granddaughter, Tegan I. Fabian; and her brothers, Steven P. Kruszewski, husband of Christine of Lower Alsace Township and Michael Kruszewski of Birdsboro. There are also several nieces, nephews, and a cousin she leaves behind. <\/p>\n
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. <\/p>\n
