BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Bethlehem Police say two people were injured after an argument turned into a large fight and stabbing Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n
Tyheem Gainey-Stewart, 24, of Whitehall, and Imani Sade Sajous, 23, both face charges, the Bethlehem Police Department said in a news release.<\/p>\n
Gainey-Stewart is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person, while Sajous faces simple assault and harassment charges.<\/p>\n
City police said officers were sent to 2180 Motel Drive for a report of a large fight involving multiple people in the parking lot.<\/p>\n
Officers were also told that people involved in the fight had been stabbed, according to the news release.<\/p>\n
Police said a 19-year-old man and a juvenile were injured and brought to a local hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n
After an investigation, detectives determined that a verbal argument involving the 19-year-old and Gainey-Stewart escalated into a physical confrontation involving multiple people, city police said.<\/p>\n
City police said Gainey-Stewart stabbed the 19-year-old man during the fight.<\/p>\n
Police say Sajous used a knife during a fight with the juvenile after the confrontation continued into the parking lot.<\/p>\n
The investigation remains active, police said.<\/p>\n
