SCRANTON \u2014 If you can\u2019t get enough of \u201cThe Office\u201d in Scranton, you can travel to Slough, the English setting of the original show, on a trip organized by the Everhart Museum, Collette Tours and Travel World.<\/p>\n
An information session promoting the trip will coincide with Thursday\u2019s Summertime Happy Hour at the Museum, which is in Nay Aug Park.<\/p>\n
The seven-day, six-night journey will be July 7\u201313, 2027.<\/p>\n
The trip will include typical attractions, such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and a food tour.<\/p>\n
But the featured stop is Slough, the setting of the original version of \u201cThe Office.\u201d Two six-episode seasons, plus a Christmas special, began airing in 2001. As with the Scranton version, very little filming was done there.<\/p>\n
Slough is a 50-minute drive from London. It is an industrial city of 143,000 and one of the most ethnically diverse communities in England.<\/p>\n
As a sidelight to the trip to Slough, there will be an excursion to nearby Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n
The information session at the Museum is Thursday at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
The Everhart has an exhibit of \u201cOffice\u201d costumes and props.<\/p>\n
