(WPVI) &#8212; Authorities in Lehigh County say an apparent attempted murder-suicide left a man dead and his girlfriend seriously injured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The incident happened just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Olympic Gardens Apartments in Whitehall Township.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Investigators said a 34-year-old man shot his 27-year-old girlfriend before turning the gun on himself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities said the man called 911 and reported that he had shot his girlfriend before shooting himself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The man died from his injuries, while the woman was seriously injured, according to investigators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities have not yet released the man&#8217;s identity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC eTIW sUzSN \">The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2026 WPVI-TV.
