\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Ann Marie Donson, 92, a long time resident of Dickson City, died Saturday afternoon at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center in Scranton, PA. She was the widow of Nicholas Donson, who died on February 20th, 2026. The couple had been married for nearly 71 years.<\/p>\n
\nBorn in Scranton, daughter of the late Charles and Ann Kaminsky Constant, she was a graduate of Scranton High School and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Peckville. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Prudential Insurance Co., and later Supermarket Services.<\/p>\n
\nShe was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who loved spending her time with family and friends.<\/p>\n
\nAnn is survived by a daughter, Joanne and husband John Pesota of Dickson City; two sons, James Donson of Leesburg, Virginia., and Robert Donson and wife Michelle of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; grandchildren, Jonathan Pesota and wife Heather of Bridgeport, PA., Christopher Pesota and wife Emily of Pasadena, MD; Nicole Pesota and husband Riccardo Cammarata of Philadelphia, PA., and Mia and Aubrey Donson of Scotch Plains, New Jersey; great-grandson, Everett Pesota; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
\nIn addition to her husband Nicholas, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father John Constant; and her brother, Robert Constant.<\/p>\n
\nThe family would like to thank all of the caregivers, Physical Therapists, activity staff, and administrators at the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center for all of their loving care and respect.<\/p>\n
\nThere are no funeral home viewing hours. The funeral will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the John J. Turko & Sons Funeral Home, Dickson City.<\/p>\n
