(WOLF) \u2014 A Northampton County man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison after investigators found more than 10,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse material on his electronic devices.<\/p>\n<p>Wei Fu, 40, of Easton, was sentenced Thursday by Senior U.S. District Judge Malachy E. Mannion to 60 months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.<\/p>\n<p>Fu was sentenced for possession of child pornography.<\/p>\n<p>According to the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, investigators searched Fu&#8217;s Easton home in March 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Federal prosecutors said more than 10,000 videos and images were discovered on his electronic devices. Some depicted the sexual abuse of infants and toddlers.<\/p>\n<p>The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, Bethlehem Township Police and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO.
