{"id":273716,"date":"2026-08-28T04:58:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T04:58:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/273716\/"},"modified":"2026-08-28T04:58:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T04:58:09","slug":"philly-police-release-surveillance-video-of-man-wanted-in-connection-with-2024-homicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/273716\/","title":{"rendered":"Philly police release surveillance video of man wanted in connection with 2024 homicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) \u2014 Philadelphia Police are asking for the public\u2019s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a deadly shooting two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Marvin Wicker, 60, was shot and killed just before 3 a.m. on Aug. 5, 2024 near the intersection of Rising Sun Avenue and Goodman Street in North Philadelphia, about a block from Temple Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators released surveillance video Thursday with a person of interest wanted in connection with the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows a man with facial hair, wearing a camouflage bucket hat, and riding a 10-speed bicycle on Westmoreland Street heading toward Germantown Avenue.
